Solar Spa Club cleans windows on homes across the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, Conejo and Simi valleys, from Burbank to Simi Valley. We clean by hand with soft brushes and purified water. Estimates are free. Call (818) 913-1626 Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm, or request an estimate.
Do you clean windows inside and outside?
Yes. The outside gets the dust, pollen, sprinkler spray and whatever else the weather leaves. The inside collects fingerprints, pet marks and the film that builds up near kitchens. We can do either one or both. If you only want the outside this time, that’s fine.
How do you clean the glass?
By hand. We scrub with soft brushes and rinse with purified water. Purified water has the minerals removed, so it dries clean and doesn’t leave spots behind. We don’t use high pressure on glass.
Can you get rid of hard water spots?
Often, yes. Tap water in much of the valleys is hard, and sprinklers that hit windows leave white mineral rings that build up over time. Fresh spotting usually comes off well.
Spots that have been baking on for years are tougher. If the minerals have etched the glass, cleaning can improve the look without fully removing them. We’ll tell you what we see before we start, so you know what to expect.
What about screens and tracks?
We can clean screens and tracks if you ask. Dirty tracks hold dust and grit that blow back onto freshly cleaned glass, so many people add them. A torn screen is a different job. See screen repair for that.
How often should windows be cleaned?
Twice a year is common. Homes near a busy road, a hillside with a lot of dust, or sprinklers that spray the glass can use more. Windows under a covered patio might go once a year.
If you’re on the fence, look at the glass in late afternoon sun. Streaks and film show up fast.
What happens on the first visit?
We walk the house with you, or look it over from outside if you’re out. We note the window count, any hard water spots and any broken seals or screens you’d like looked at. Then we clean. Before we leave, we check the glass in daylight from a couple of angles.
Do you clean interior windows?
Yes. We protect floors and sills as we work. If you have a lot of window coverings or furniture against the glass, tell us and we’ll plan around it.
How much does window cleaning cost?
The number of windows is the biggest factor. After that come the stories, because a second floor takes more time. Interior cleaning adds to the job. So do heavy hard water spots, screens and tracks, and hard-to-reach glass such as skylights or tall stairwell windows.
Estimates are free. Tell us roughly how many windows you have and we’ll take it from there.
Can I bundle windows with solar panel cleaning?
Yes. We already bring purified water for solar panel cleaning, so adding windows is a natural pairing. Many customers also add house washing for the exterior walls.
All our work comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll come back and make it right at no additional cost.
